Best vacation home location?

I want to buy a vacation home in a tropical location. I really want to be able to get the most for my money, and I would love to be on the water. My budget is about 500K.

The choices are …

Costa Rica
Cayman Islands
Fiji
Nicaragua
…and any other beautiful, warm place you recommend!

What’s your opinion of the best vacation home location from that list? Where else do you recommend?

      I would consider Thailand. You can spend waaaay less and live in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Check out some of the islands down south like Phuket, Ko Samui, Ko Tau, and Ko Phi Phi.

    2. The other poster is correct, you should consider Thailand. You could buy a fabulous house there for that amount of money. Friends recently traveled there, spent about $30 USD for everything per day, hotel, food, drinks, etc..
